Fivebar (fivebar.selvaag.org and the iOS app) is run by Audun Grimstad Selvåg. This page explains what we store, why, and how to delete it.
What we store
- The name and email address you sign up with, and your password (hashed, never in plain text).
- Which teams you belong to and your role in them.
- Your votes on daily questions, and questions you write as a team admin.
- If you turn on notifications in the app: a push address for your phone and the app's language.
- Sign-in sessions (time, IP address and browser/device), to keep you signed in securely.
What we use it for
Only to run the service: signing you in, showing your team's questions and results, sending confirmation and password emails, and sending the daily question as a notification. There are no ads, trackers or analytics, and we don't sell or share data with anyone.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel (hosting) and Neon (database, stored in the EU, Frankfurt).
- Resend (sending email).
- Expo and Apple (delivering push notifications to iPhone).
Who sees what
Team members see each other's names and how many voted for each answer. Team admins also see members' email addresses. Which answer you picked is only shown to you.
Deleting your data
You can delete your account at any time in the app (Settings → Delete account). This deletes your account, votes and push addresses. Teams you own pass to another member, or are deleted if you were the only one. You can also ask for a copy or deletion of your data at support@selvaag.org.
